Cookie Consent
When you first visit our website, a cookie banner appears where you can decide whether or not you consent to the use of non-essential cookies (statistics & marketing, see below). The relevant services (Google Analytics, Google Ads/Remarketing, Facebook Pixel, HubSpot tracking) are only loaded after you have actively selected „Accept all“. If you select „Necessary only“, these services are not loaded.
Your choice is stored locally in your browser (local storage) and applies to your future visits. You can change your decision at any time via the „Cookie Settings“ link in the footer of this website.
General Information
With the following information, we would like to inform you in an understandable way about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data pursuant to the German Telemedia Act when you visit this website. In addition, we would like to inform you about the processing of personal data in countries outside the scope of the GDPR.
Data Collection
When you access our website, we automatically collect data of a general nature. This data (server log files) includes, for example, the type of your browser, your operating system, the domain name of your internet service provider and other similar general data. This data is entirely independent of any individual person and is used to display our website correctly to you, and is retrieved every time the internet is used. The entirely anonymous data is evaluated statistically in order to improve our service for you.
We use the web hosting service of 1&1 for this.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we use the registration data exclusively for the newsletter service. Registered users may be contacted by us to be informed about changes, updates or other relevant information.
A valid email address must be provided upon registration. The so-called „double opt-in“ procedure is used to verify that the registrant and the email address match.
You have the right to have your data deleted from the newsletter service at any time. Our newsletters contain a link for unsubscribing. You can also unsubscribe on the website or let us know your wish via our contact page. You will also receive a newsletter if you have given your written consent here (e.g. by filling out a bonus card or wish box form). You can unsubscribe from the newsletter directly at any time, or send us an email stating that you no longer wish to receive a newsletter. For the newsletter we use the services of IONOS and HubSpot. Your name (for personal address) and your email address are stored there. Upon request, we can delete your data there at any time.
Contact Form
If you contact us via our contact page or send us an email, the relevant data will be stored for processing.
Deletion or blocking of data: your personal data is only stored for as long as is absolutely necessary to provide the services in question and as required by law. After these periods have expired, users’ personal data is routinely blocked or deleted.
Contact and Newsletter Form (HubSpot)
On our contact page we embed a contact and newsletter form provided by HubSpot (HubSpot Ireland Limited, One Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland). The form is delivered via HubSpot’s European infrastructure (the „eu1“ region), meaning that data processing takes place on servers located within the EU.
When you fill out and submit the form, the data you enter (e.g. name, email address and any other details you provide) is transmitted to HubSpot, stored there, and made available to us in order to process your enquiry or add you to our newsletter list. The legal basis for a contact enquiry is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (processing your enquiry); for a newsletter sign-up it is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR.
When loading and submitting the form, HubSpot may set technically necessary cookies, among other things to match form submissions and prevent duplicate submissions. For more information on how HubSpot handles personal data, please see HubSpot’s privacy policy: https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, or object to the processing of data you submitted via the form and request its deletion; please contact us at info@kauffmann-spielen-schenken.de.
HubSpot Website Tracking
All pages of this website also include a general tracking script provided by HubSpot (HubSpot Ireland Limited, One Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland), delivered via HubSpot’s European infrastructure (the „eu1“ region).
The script automatically collects basic usage data (e.g. pages visited, time spent on the site, technical device and browser information) and sets cookies in order to recognise returning visitors and statistically evaluate the use of the website. This data is transmitted to and stored by HubSpot.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. You can prevent or restrict the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings.
For more information on how HubSpot handles personal data, please see HubSpot’s privacy policy: https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.
As part of this tracking script, HubSpot may also load its own advertising pixel to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and recognise visitors for retargeting purposes.
Google Analytics
This website includes the Google tag (gtag.js) with the measurement ID G-X2ZV0651Q1, through which we use Google Analytics, the web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited („Google“).
Our website uses Google Analytics, the web analytics service provided by Google Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses „cookies“, small text files stored on your computer that store data about your use of our website. The data generated by the cookie about your use of our website is transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. Since IP anonymisation is enabled on our website, your IP address is shortened by Google beforehand. This applies to member states of the European Union and other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. In rare cases, the full IP address may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity for us, and to gather further statistical data. Your IP address will never be merged with other data held by Google. The use of cookies can be disabled via a setting in your browser; however, this may limit the functionality of our website. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by using a special browser add-on.
The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. For more information on how Google handles personal data, please see Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Remarketing
Specifically, this website includes the Google Ads conversion tag with the ID AW-10936052684 (via the Google Ads account linked to our Google tag).
Our website uses the Google Remarketing function, which is used to show individual advertising to visitors of websites belonging to the Google advertising network. A „cookie“ is stored in your browser so that you can be recognised when you visit a website belonging to the Google advertising network. This means you may be shown advertising related to your visits to other websites that also use the Google Remarketing function.
Google does not store any individual data in this process. At http://www.google.com/settings/ads you have the option to disable the Google Remarketing function. The use of cookies for personalised advertising can also be disabled. Instructions on how to do this are described at this link: http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR.
Facebook Pixel (Meta)
Through the linkage of our Google Ads account, the Facebook Pixel provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland („Meta“) is also embedded.
The Facebook Pixel sets a cookie and enables Meta to identify visitors of our website as a target audience for the display of advertisements (Facebook/Instagram ads) and to track the success of our advertising campaigns. In doing so, data such as the page you visited, technical device and browser information, and an encrypted identifier are transmitted to and processed by Meta. This can also happen if you do not have a Meta/Facebook account or are not logged into Facebook.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. For more information on how Meta handles personal data, as well as opt-out options, please see Meta’s privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/ and https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/.
Google Maps
This site uses the Google Maps mapping service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. The operator of this site has no influence on this data transfer.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings and easy locatability of the places we indicate on our website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.
For more information on how Google handles user data, please see Google’s privacy policy.
Social Plugins
We use social plugins from the providers listed below on our website. Plugins are marked with the respective logo.
The service provider may, under certain circumstances, receive information and personal data about our visitors through such plugins. A two-click solution we have implemented prevents the non-obvious collection and transmission of data to the service provider. Only when a social plugin is actively clicked by you is the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider triggered.
What data such a plugin collects once activated, and how it is subsequently used, is beyond our control. In some cases, direct connections are established to the respective provider’s services, and the IP address and specific usage information may be collected and used. Service providers may also attempt to store cookies on your computer. You can find out how these cookies work in the privacy notices of the respective provider. Facebook may be able to identify you as a visitor if you are currently logged into your Facebook account.
Social media buttons from the following companies are embedded on our website:
Google Plus/Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway – Mountain View – CA 94043 – USA), Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Telegram
Cookies
Our website uses „cookies“. Cookies are text files transferred from a website’s server to your computer. Certain data such as IP address, browser, operating system and internet connection are transmitted in the process.
Cookies do not start any programs and do not transmit viruses. The information collected through cookies is used to make navigation easier for you and to optimise the display of our website.
Data collected by us is never passed on to third parties without your consent, or combined with personal data.
The use of cookies can be prevented via settings in your browser. Your browser’s help pages contain information on how to change these settings. Certain functions of our website may not work properly if the use of cookies is disabled.
For collecting statistical metrics on the use of our services, we use the „Scalable Central Measurement Procedure“ (SZM) provided by INFOnline GmbH (http://www.infonline.de).
This procedure collects anonymous measurement data. SZM reach measurement uses either a cookie with the identifier „ioam.de“ or „ivwbox.de“, a LocalStorage object, or a signature generated from various pieces of information transmitted by your web browser, in order to recognise computer systems. IP addresses are used in anonymised form.
Data protection is always taken into account in reach measurement. It statistically determines the usage intensity and number of users of a website. Individual users are not identified in the process; identity remains protected at all times. The system does not send any advertising.
Online offerings that belong to the Working Group for the Determination of the Distribution of Advertising Media e.V. (IVW – http://www.ivw.eu) or participate in the „internet facts“ study of the Working Group for Online Research e.V. (AGOF – www.agof.de) have their usage statistics published monthly by AGOF and the Working Group Media Analysis e.V. (ag.ma – www.agma-mmc.de) as well as by IVW, and can be viewed at http://www.agof.de, http://www.agma-mmc.de and http://www.ivw.eu. IVW regularly reviews the SZM procedure with regard to compliant and data-protection-conform use, and the measurement data is also published.
The website of INFOnline GmbH (https://www.infonline.de), the AGOF privacy website (http://www.agof.de/datenschutz) and the IVW privacy website (http://www.ivw.eu) provide detailed information on the SZM procedure.
If you do not agree to data processing by the SZM, you can state this at the following links: http://optout.ioam.de and http://optout.ivwbox.de
Google AdWords
Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you arrive at our website by clicking on a Google ad, Google AdWords stores a conversion tracking cookie on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and do not identify website visitors personally. Within this 30-day period, we and Google can determine that a user initially clicked on the ad to reach our site. Google AdWords cookies are customer-specific and cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using conversion cookies is used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who use conversion tracking. Customers find out how many users clicked on their ad to visit their site. Personal data of users is not transmitted in the process.
Anyone who does not wish to participate in tracking can disable this in their browser settings. The automatic setting of cookies can generally be disabled, or you can configure your browser to always block cookies from googleleadservices.com.
Opt-out cookies must not be deleted if you wish to decline the recording of measurement data. If you delete cookies in your browser, all opt-out cookies must be set again.
Right to Information, Correction, Blocking, Deletion and Objection
You may request information about your data stored with us at any time. This data can also be corrected, blocked, or – provided the statutory retention periods for business processing have expired – deleted. Our data protection officer is happy to help you with any related questions. Contact details can be found below.
Blocked data is kept in a separate blocking file for control purposes. Once the statutory archiving obligation has expired, you may also request the deletion of the data. Within the archiving obligation period, we can block your data upon request.
Changes to or withdrawal of consent can be made by notifying us. This is also possible for future actions.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Our privacy policy may be adjusted from time to time so that it always complies with current legal requirements, or to reflect changes to our services, e.g. when introducing new offerings. The new privacy policy will then automatically apply to your next visit.
